Today marks 10 years of my being a full-time freelancer, so its kind of a celebration. I did this piece as a promo and I'll be sending it out as a poster announcing my "anniversary." I wanted to create a piece that reflects what I think making a living as an illustrator is like: exhilarating, scary, dramatic, there's always something to reach for. Promotion - Take 2
Yesterday I posted a 5"x7" postcard that I sent out last week to trade publishers.
This postcard I just uploaded to have printed by Vistaprint today. I'll send this one to publishers of magazines and leveled readers. It shows illustrations from an easy reader that I illustrated for Seedling Publications called Map Fun.

This is the front and back of a 5"x7" postcard that I sent to publishers a few days ago. I attached a label with the publisher's address in the middle of the blue tablecloth. I usually have Vistaprint print my postcards, but they don't do the 5"x7" size, so I had this one printed at www.printplace.com.
